Manmeet Kalra, an expert in IT Service Management (ITSM), is the Founder and Director of Falcon Mind Sdn Bhd. He has over 15 years of experience that includes directing as many as 100 employees worldwide in service management and applying expertise in data driven, long term strategic planning.
The Idea of starting up Falcon Mind was solely based on the idea that there is a lack of soft skills program and good leadership programs. While working in various job industries as stated below, having interactions with all levels of associates in the organisations, he found out that there was something is lacking in the communications and skills beyond technical and operations. It was a real problem which led to miscommunications and job not well done.
Manmeet was previously a Global Service Manager at Huntsman Global Business Services (Malaysia), where he led a group of talented service management and project managers. There, he worked on improving the service management in Huntsman from the stakeholders to vendors.
Apart from serving as a member of the Governance Board in providing key decisions to drive the company forward, he have worked closely with Directors, CEO’s, and CIO’s to drive improvement.
Prior to this, Manmeet held various positions as global and regional managers in Qualsys Ltd (UK), Shell Malaysia, T-Systems Malaysia and CSC Malaysia.
Manmeet holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the Sydney Business School of University of Wollongong (Australia) with a Bachelor of Science degree in computer systems engineering from Nottingham University (UK). He is professionally certified in the following that helps: -
